Meet Mary: Your Expert in Holistic Healing
Her dedication to holistic health and patient-centered care led her to pursue advanced training in Acupuncture. She earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture and subsequently completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DAc) from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2024.
In October 2024, Mary began practicing acupuncture in Monmouth County, New Jersey, where she now specializes in cosmetic acupuncture and women’s health, with a particular focus on infertility, pregnancy support, and postpartum care. By integrating her strong foundation in Western biomedical science with the time-tested principles of Chinese medicine, Mary offers a uniquely comprehensive and compassionate approach to care.
Her mission is to empower patients through holistic, evidence-informed care that enhances physical, emotional, and reproductive well-being.
Dr. Mary Velmahos Paradissis, LAc is a highly skilled healthcare professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in cardiac diagnostic imaging and integrative medicine. She graduated from Griffith University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Science (Clinical Physiology) in 2011. In 2017, she earned a Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound with Distinction from Queensland University of Technology.
Mary is a registered cardiac sonographer with the Australasian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR) and Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). She has served as a lead cardiac sonographer in various diagnostic imaging facilities across South East Queensland, Australia, building a reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate care.
